Longhorn Plc Group MD and CEO Maxwell Wahome elected at the Membership Committee of the IPA

During its second consecutive virtual General Assembly, the world’s largest federation of publishers’ associations welcomed 3 new members and among them was our very own Maxwell Wahome.

Longhorn Plc Group Managing Director and CEO Maxwell Wahome was elected as a Member of the Membership Committee of The International Publishers Association (IPA) during its General Assembly that took place on 14th October 2021.

Maxwell, who is currently the Managing Director of one of the household publishing organizations here in East Africa recounts that he has been passionate about education ever since but becoming CEO of a publishing house was the last thing he expected to be let alone the latest global appointment as the only African representative in the Membership Committee at International Publishers Association.

The IPA is the world's largest federation of national, regional, and specialist publishers' associations, based in Geneva, Switzerland, IPA represents the interests of the publishing industry in international fora and wherever publishers' interests are at stake.
